I'd definately put Metal Gear as my top series, followed of course by Legacy of Kain. Both have great graffics, as well as amazing attention to detail but the mind blowing part for me is the story! Metal Gear especially, has a lot of deep things to say about life, war, friendship, fate, etc. I think the worst game I've ever played was probably Battle Toads. Even with cheats on, I could not get past that one stage!! That or Mission Impossible. Nothing to do with the t.v. show or Tom Cruise. This was for the old Apple IIc. I spent literally days trying to beat that game and the final video sequence (which lasted about 3 seconds) was of an elevator going down the side of a tower.
