I liked both and although the Crue is still active and the Row isn't, I was referring to back in the day when they both were getting alot of exposure on the original Head Bangers Ball on the original MTV ?
And they both had kick a** videos back then too, who had the better videos and who had the best music ?

I think I have to go with the Crue as well.
"Looks that Kill" and "Too young to fall In love" were two of the best rock videos ever!
Although,
Skid Row's "Piece of me" and "Youth gone wild" should get an honorable mention as two of the best kick a** songs back then.

Actually, Skid Row is still around and coming up with new stuff. Crue were the original bad boys, Skid Row did hold their own as well. Both Vince Neil and Sabastian Bach have unique voices. I would say, Motley wins this round, but not far behind is Skid Row.

Well,it seem's as if Motley Crue is winning this one.Back in the day[the 80's]I saw Motley Crue and Skid Row.i have to agree that the Crue was kick ass.But,if you never got the chance,you missed a great band.AC/DC,with Bon Scott.I saw them here in Charlotte North Carolina,in November 1979.It was the next to last show on the North American Highway To Hell Tour.Bon Scott died in January 1980.It took a few year's to get used to Brian Johnson.

One of the best Rock video's of all time.
It's funny, It's cool, and it Rocks!
This was the one that got my attention for Crue when I was a kid, I just thought this was the coolest representation of Rock N Roll on video, of course this song is a cover song from the original song done by a band called 'Brownsville Station'. I think that was the name of the band who first did it. If I am wrong then please correct me.
Anyway all you Crue and Skid Row fans feel free to post your favorite Crue or Skid video here , but please make sure it is good quality of audio and video, if you are going to post a video.
There are alot more better video sites than youtube for music video's.
If the sound sucks on the video I will have to delete it so keep it good folks!

Just to be fair, I thought I should put up a Skid Row video too, and this was my favorite Skid Row song back then. I did a video search on Google and found some live versions of this one too, but wanted to put up the original, but after watching the intro to this song at a live concert in Japan, Sebastion said that this song was about all the prejudice against us rockers, people who listened to Rock music, so this is another very cool represention of the meaning of Rock n Roll on video.
But listening to this video just now, after all these years, I just realized how much the style and sound of this song is very Motely Crue-ish.
Listen to the vocal style and the guitar, and tell me if you think it has a Motely Crue style or sound. I never realized the similarity until now. Any opinions on this song sounding Motely-ish ?
