Still there,I am fifty and have a six year old daughter so that turns some women away,I guess they figure that they have raised enough kids by now, most of the women I have dated have been in their late thirties and have kids her age so that helps.

My last is now in her first year of college and I am still trying to figure out what to do with my time. I use to work two jobs and go to school, I don't want to throw myself into being totally busy with anything, and I am nervous about committing to anything. So, I am right there still figuring it out.

it is as if we have wrapped our wholeself into the kids and to then come to point of finding yourself again,no? I am not saying that was the best way though of doing but this is my story.

I have been a single Mom now for 8 years. My children are now 15,11,and 9. Their father is never around to help with anything. Its been 2 years since he has seen or called them. So I have been on my own. I have tried dating but only found men that see my kids as a burden and something that just gets in their way. So for years I have put dating on the back burner. My kids are part of my life and any man I meet needs to accept that first. Now that my kids are older I want to try again. so here I am.

I'm there now. My son is almost 16 and dating. He worries about me, and who I might date, just like I worry about him. He has a nice girlfriend right now. But that leaves me home alone a few nights a week. Yes. now what?
