My Mom died of breast cancer on January 28, 2008. My daughter, Billie Jean who is 40, went in for a mammogram last week. Something showed up. She has since gone for an ultrasound. Something is there. She is scheduled for a biopsy next week and will have the results on September 1. I am heading to her house on September 2nd.
I am asking all those who pray or for well wishes that the results of this biopsy be good and I thank you all in advance for your prayers.
Billie Jean is actually the best person I have ever known. Sometimes I don't know how she turned out so good with me for a mother. She has twins, James and Brittany that are 20 years old and very good young adults.
If anyone deserves a positive outcome and good results, she would be one.

You have all of my wishes and prayers. Alot of my family members have died from cancer...but the silver lining of that Hun is alot of them also survived. My Mom, sister and 2 aunts had breast cancer and all survived. Keep praying and keep your friends close by they are the ones that will get all of you thru this hard time. God Bless you both!!!

Hi Elly, your daughter will be in my prayers. Within the last few weeks I just went thru this with my Mother... we waited nervously for the needle biopsy results and everything is fine thank goodness. The Dr inserted a clip where the biopsy was done and now they will do mamograms every 6 months but especially keep an eye on the area that showed up..

Oh, Elly, my thought and prayers for you, your daughter and her family. I certainly will be thinking of you all. Yes, prayers are answered.Just remember to stay positive.
The doctors thought my daughter had cancer back in January, she had surgery, thankfully it wasn't. Symptoms came back, we thought she would have more surgery in July. When she went back for preopt test-there was nothing. Everything had disappeared.
So, keep praying, stay positive and keep you chin up.
