Sorry guys/gals, this has nothing to do with dating or advice on love/past relationships etc. It's more serious than that (j.k.) I have a Komfort travel trailer that was working great when I was hunting, opening weekend. I had to leave early because I didn't have a babysitter for my son that following Monday. When I left, everything was working perfectly (the lights, heater, all electrical). The next night, a couple of my friends got in the trailer to go to bed and there were no lights, the heater wouldn't work, nothing. The batteries are brand new, I checked the fuses and breakers and everything seems to be fine. What am I missing? Does anybody know anything about this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

How old is the trailer?
I would check your connections from your batteries, and the cables to see if the connectors are tight, aren't corroded, and the cables are totally intact?
Had this problem with my car, had to replace the metal connector where it hooks to the post on the battery. Was a fairly simple fix. Be careful not to get the battery dust on you when you're checking or fixing as it's very corrosive.

I checked the fuses, breaker box, and batteries. I just bought a couple new batteries almost 2 months ago. The wires are fine, from what I can see. It's an older camper, I'm not sure of the year. I'm at a loss right now. The last night we used it we left the heater on and ran the batteries down. One of my friends hooked up the jumpers from the truck to the trailer but nothing is working. I plugged the trailer into my truck and I have brake lights and turning signals but nothing inside. It's beginning to irritate me!!!

Your turn signals and brake lights get there elctrical from the truck. They would be on your trucks fuses. The items inside the trailer run off of your power supply, battery or hot wire from truck. The problem is in fuses, breakers, battery, battery connection wiring or appliances and lights themselves. Could be the battery is bad, connections from jumpers or cable connections from trailer to battery. Check connections on battery first. If your jumping battery from vehicle and go through connections might be problem. Wish I was there. It'd be alot easier to help you out. If you need some help in box me.

Checked the fuses, they are fine. Just bought batteries recently so that shouldn't be a problem, I wouldn't think. The jumpers are also new as well as my truck so there is no corrosion anywhere. Checked the connection and they are tight. I don't understand how it could be working one day, then the next nothing. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep tinkering.

I might take you guys up on that. I'm gonna play around with it a little more before I give in. Thankyou.
WM56 -- I don't have a test light but I know some people that do. I'll give them a call and have them bring it over. Thankyou. I will let you guys know how it goes.

What is the difference between an oil leak and a g-spot? A guy will actually look for the oil leak.
I think that is how it goes. Anyway, thanks for all the advice.

Guys will look for the oil spot that's true, but only because we are generally so thorough. As far as the G spot, I'm not sure if some women even know where it is, sometimes I think it must be pretty damn evasive!

That spot that men have such a HARD time finding .. .because it's sooo elusive ... ummm ... hello men ... dedicate as much time to finding it as you do to watching tv and you could have as many women as ... what's that man's name ... ranger?? LOL ...
And I know that you men are completely against asking for directions ... but I promise you that any woman would be happy to show you where it is ... just ask

My father-in-law came over after I got out of the gym. He thought it was a ground problem also. After checking around, he found a bunch of fuses underneath the trailer. Thought I knew where they all were, damn-it. One of the fuses were bad. Thanks to everybody for your help. I am going to get ready and go to Club 90. I need a drink after this camper B.S.
