On topic, more than likely, NO. My current career has a lot of work and education that has went into it. And, it's out lasted most of the people I've dated. For some reason to urge to keep a roof over my head and eat has trumped the urge to keep a relationship happy. But, like everything else, depends on the circumstances.

Does your porn industry have good benefits? That plays a major role... dental, vision, life, health insurance. What about a retirement plan? Do they practice matching funds?
I'd recommend, at this point in your life, do what you want to do. It's stable work, and like you say, the money is good - a rare thing in this economy.
Your boyfriend will have to learn to accept all of you, even the parts he doesn't like.

Yes, again and again...we moved with his job. Each time I took a cut in pay just to get a job. In the end he cheated on me and dumped me for a woman that was 25 yrs younger than me and he paid all the bills....what did I do wrong?
