World of Warcraft is not a game I would recommend to any adult with social skills, simply because the community is just absolutely horrid. It's chock full of angst filled 12 year old kiddies with a huge attitude, and a love for making the game not fun to the more mature audience. It's also not exactly a challenging game, I'm sorry. It's a very dumned down version of an online game. In the world of computer gaming, I would not make the numbers my first clue as to the quality of a game. I would instead investigate things such as community, balance, and content from low level all the way to cap level.
A good example, in WoW, if you start a new character, you are almost guarenteed you are just going to be doing the exact same content over and over again that you had done with the previous character.
Vanguard's game is so big, and has so much content, that you will not even come close to experiencing all the content on just one toon. That right there makes it a game worth playing, simply because it won't get stale if you like making alts.
