His team his kicking the crap out of Kentucky scoring 31 points in the first quarter. There is no way Kentucky could catch up. No Way.
Tim Tebow is playing with the flu. He takes a separate flight from the team along with a few others so that he doesn't contaminate the rest of the team enroute to Kentucky. Why didn't he start his backup in the second half? Now Tebow is spending the night in the hospital due to a probable concussion.
I know hindsight is 20/20 but for God sake Urban we know why you kept Tebow in there. He wanted to run up the score to secure more number one votes especially after winning by 10 against Tennessee last week.
So much for Urban Meyer's care for the well being of his players. What a joke.

Couldn't agree more, I was thinking the same thing hearing that Tebow had the flu, and they wee up so much at halftime. He better hope Tebow isn't seriiously hurt, even Florida fans arent' gonna like that call.

Breaking news – Tim Tebow was taken off of the field on an off white cart manufactured by Club Car. The towel he had over his head was from the Martha Stewart collection, and the barf bag was by Hefty.
Breaking news – Tim Tebow had dry toast, orange Jell-o, and hot tea for breakfast.
Breaking news – Tim Tebow used the bedpan early yesterday afternoon. As expected, it did not stink.
In other related college news tidbits from the same news wire: After three interceptions and a lost fumble led to yet another Penn State loss to Iowa, a reporter asked head coach Joe Paterno, “Do you have a sense of what led to the turnovers?” Even reporters are phrasing questions as if Paterno experiences the games in an indirect way.
And of course: Penalized for pass interference after grabbing Notre Dame wide receiver Golden Tate’s arm late in the first quarter, Purdue defensive back, David Pender complained to the referee. “What’s the use of studying game film of an opponent if I can’t do what was allowed the two weeks before this?” he asked.

Texas coach Mack Brown is not far off of the jerko meter. He plays Heisman hopeful McCoy in the second half after they scored 47 points in the first half against powerhouse UTEP. And these guys are respected coaches? To me if I'm in the lead by that much and my defense is doing a good job, I'm taking my stud out of the game for fear of injury (best interest of the kid); I'm putting in my second string QB to give him reps (best interest for that kid and the team in the future)...there is nothing like live snaps.
Other coaches, like Bear Bryant did a huge injustice to Joe Namath. Namath hurt his knee and Bryant kept him out a couple of weeks. Then Bryant played Namath in the Orange Bowl. Namath's knee never got better after that. Namath wore a knee brace the rest of his life.
I can't imagine these coaches coming into my living room as a parent trying to get my kid to go to their program. I'd love to recruit against guys like this.
I'd rather have a coach like Ara Parseghian when QB Terry Hanratty tore ligaments in his knee in a practice. He could've played Hanratty three weeks later against USC and slapped a knee brace on the guy. Hanratty was willing to do just that; but, Ara told him that he wouldn't allow that with his injury. They operated on him four days later. It ended his career at ND; but elongated it in the NFL.

Ara Parsegian was a class act all around and will always be remembered the world over as one of if not the greatest college Football coaches of all time. Very well respected and admired by fans everywhere thats why Notre Dame is Notre Dame we have the best academics anywhere and the Football program is on the rise. Mort i can feel great things for this team in 2009 and beyond Charlie Weis is the man in charge and hes not gonna be replaced ever... until he retires.
