Hey all my PA friends I just wanted to let you all know that I will be leaving the dating site for now. As I think I am a target for scammers. I met a lot of nice people and really hate to leave but feel I must. Sue, Stumppy, irish lady, Elma, and all the other wounderful people who were at the bath camp meet........HUGS and God bless you all. Saturday will be my last day here.

tks kym, I was going to change my name and put a different pic up but I guess I am too honest of a person and am at a loss. I came on here to meet friends and when I think I find one I get scammed......... the first two were easy but this last one stunk....Ihave learned to do checks on them and pick up on it faster now but just the same Im on their list......

Nancy don't let a bunch of a$$holes chase you off something you enjoy. WE all have had those at one time or another but we are all still here to tell about it. I think we all still get them, its just knowing who they are and what to do with them. Email any of us if you have a hard time telling the difference. They are pretty slick people and know how to get under your skin and if you let them play their game then you lose. YOu have to nip them in the bud early and let them know you arent playing their game. Trish is the first one to tell you to click them off and block them. I'm next. Please stay
And whatever you do don't give out your IM or email address to them. they will be unmerciful. Tell them if they want to talk to you to do it on the site mail. That usually stops them for me.

Nance....as with the rest, that have made the statement of not leaving as you will be giving in, I must agree. Just to remind you, as in these type of sites, you are going to find this happen but face the fact, in the real world of everyday life, you are and will find the same type of people where ever you go. This site for one has the least amount that I've come across but here again, I'm a male but it happen regardless. You do have the control at your finger tips. when in doubt, block or don't send a reply. Had one today that sent a friends request, denied it, why, first they never even looked at the profile and even after I stated such, they still didn't bother to read the dern thing. Got another e-mail with a bunch of crap, so I have a choice to make. No response or put a block on. There are just to many good folks on here just to walk away. Each will do their share to try and help but you need to stick it out....when in doubt, punt....regards, the old goat

WE all are on the list...I get spurts of them for days at a time. Some arent even scammers just PLAYERS looking for kicks on here. My gf's here keep telling me when you least expect it it will come. Just pull back from looking a bit, take time to have fun in the forums and relax.

Mike I haven't reported anyone because when I go back for their contact information they have already deleted it. They are slick. I will take all the advice that e1 has given me and see what happens. I have always prided myself on being "one of the guys", and I won't keep it a secret that I'd like to deal with this "pathetic creature (creatures!!)too! I've never been to a blanket party though, is that like a slumber party only with a different outcome? Maybe we could have another Meet and Greet?

The fact of the matter any woman over 40 who is on a site has the potenial of being "hit". I get them all the time I report and block...I am sending your the name of a site to review.
As for myself I am taking a break....nothing to do with scammers. Just have a bunch of things to focus on at my house with winter around the corner. Anyway I have reached the 6 month mark and made a promise to myself to re-evaluate the productiveness of dating sites. As you can see I have not disappeared just not available like I was.
