Happy holidays, absolutely you can meet people on here but as far as dating your chances of getting a date is far more greater if you have a picture posted. Folks want to see whom they are emailing.I dont email any men that dont have a photo posted.SORRY! guys Im sure you are very nice and also easy on the eyes but! theres that but...But then again how do I know if the photos posted are actually that person any ways I guess its the chance you have to take.....seasons greetings to all and a very happy prosperous new year to all

Many thanks for your comments, i really appreciate so. i would like really to find someone close, but unfortunatelly being a single mom i have to work long hours so there is no much time also, i guess i am swimming against the river seems like i am so picky but not, my poor dream guy needs to be so patient also since i am dealing with three jobs also. ok for now have a wonderful hollidays.

I ask that question too. I've had a few people send an email or wink, and I always acknowledge, but they never write back. Why wink if you're not going to acknowledge the person or write them? Also, it's polite to acknowledge someone even if you're not interested. A simple, thanks for the note.
Regarding a picture, I am personally don't post it for personal reasons. I will share it if someone reads my profile and decides they'd like to find out more. It shows me they can at least read and have taken a few minutes to find out a little bit about me.
I don't look at a picture of someone as a yea or nay on whether I want to contact them. Your PROFILE tells me a lot more. When you don't complete it, or put something about yourself, I'll pass on anyone with a picture - doesn't matter how attractive I find the picture.
Back to actually someone asking someone out on a date, I doubt it anymore. I have no idea what anyone's hang ups or expectations are, but they seem to be long checklists and they forgot we are still human beings and not perfect. I just think of meeting for a cup of coffee in person, seeing if there's any connection, if not, move on, what harm is done? Is it that difficult? Yes, it seems it is.

I have been on here a couple of months and have talked to maybe three ladies.....so it doesn't really seem to be a happening place. May have better chances at the food store.
Just the way it been for me. Really it kinda boring on here.

yes it is possible to meet people from this site and I have twice. Can't say they worked out one is a friend and the other was just a nice acquaintance and I will always remember. I so like someone else but he says distance is the problem and is not willing to travel but is a good friend.

I too have meet a very nice gentleman on this site. The best advice I can offer is to hang tight and just let it happen. Probably when you lest expect it, someone will catch your eye.

Planes are made to bring people together. If the interest is there then distance isn't a problem. When it is a problem then it's a matter of who wants to move where to be together. But there must be that 1st meeting in order to see if the chemistry is there.
