I am so packed in. I can move the snow around my vehicle, but have know place to stack it. This snow is going to be more of a pain than I expected. However, the outside Christmas lights look great in the white reflection!

Just dorking around the house. I did some baking, played games with my kids, watched TV and read. It was nice!

going to sleep, I HAVE to be at work tomorrow at 6am., I am going in at 4am., just to be the only one on the road, I hope, and sleep in the car until 6am. Sad, but true! No one knows how to drive in snow here, they all want to go 70mph., even a dusting is chaos on the roads.

I am practically buried in snow. I managed to open one storm door, but had to push hard because the snow was blocking it, and that door has 2 steps down right away. Attempted to shovel some out of the way, hopeless. Boris was hoping to get outside, he took a few steps, sank in the snow, turned right back inside and used his litter box.

I will need to take pictures to send to my friends in Calgary, we never had this much snow in the 7 winters I spent there. They don't even clean the roads and parking lots, no salt either, it could contaminate the drinking water in the reservoir. So they spread some sand and fine gravel, and you learn to drive and walk on ice from early November to the end of April. No big deal and you and your car get used to it. But when the stoplight turns green for you, don't start to cross the road until you have checked left and right. Those with SUV and pickups think they can do anything, so they slam the breaks for a red light, and guess what? Their wheels lock up and they slide all across the highway !! Hilarious to watch them.
Usually during the first snow fall in early October, there are at least 200 accidents within the city limits, all the new teenagers behind the wheel.
During the last week of April the trucks with the sweeper comes around to collect all the sand and gravel.

Ah, almost forgot to mention, I have experienced -36 F, plus the windchill, in Calgary. One happy SnowLeopard
