I bought this new computer about a week after thanksgiving,
for some reason the sound really sucks ass,
Not that the computer is broken or something it is just how it is suppose to sound,
Some new high definition sound but it always is too quiet and sounds like it is coming from up somebody's ass, in a bathroom, inside a tin can, on the third moon of Jupiter or something. It is really horrible.
Yes, I did find that there is a setting of effect, one purposely to make everything sound like it is in a bathroom but I turned that off and it still sounds that way.
I took my old speakers off my old computer and put them on but the sound was too quiet to be hear on them.
I guess if worse comes to worse I can just get a new sound card but would like to figure out another way of altering the drivers or something, I'm pretty sure the sound card is capable of playing at normal sound levels and less effect.
I emailed both HP and the sound card makers with little luck,
they said to just plug them in the back ground speaker slot, which doesn't work, unless I wanna but new speakers.
Basically I wanna dump the high definition sound and just hear regular clear sound,
You think that would be easy.
I'd know I to do it if were a different CD drive or Just about anything else, but dunno.

Is the sound card part of the mother board?
If it is, there should be 4 or 5 holes, My friend had an HP and it was all wacked out, I ended up plugging the speakers into totally two different slots that were the wrong color.
