as of wednesday the 17th of february 2010 i have become a grandfather of a bouncing baby boy. aiden anthony 7lbs 13 onces. born just outside of pittsburgh, i'm so proud i hope he turns out to be as special as his father is. could not have asked for a kinder more selfless child in a world that seems to put "me first" anymore. i am so excited, at a time where my life is really taking on a change. i just accepted a position with a company in waynesboro, va. and it is really not much further from my son than i am now. life can be good................

i know what you mean mow, his daddy sure grew up fast. on day we were changing diapers and the next he is off to iraq. now he is a new dad and i know he will be a good one. he also has a wonderful wife to share their new joy.

Congratulations, Jim !!! It is great being a grandparent. Seeing in that little miracle a piece of you and your son. Almost makes your heart burst.
I saw the birth of two of my grandsons. What a sight!! Of course, being a sappy grandmother I cried.
