whidbey Normal, IL age: 57	on an island just north of Seattle are two very small and unique seaport towns - Langely and Coupeville. Both have eclectic shops, great pubs and restaurants, lots of B&B's and serenity that is unmatched. The island is Whidbey Island where I lived for 30 years - sure do miss it! Best time of year to go is either in May, or after July 4- great weather!
