im online and wondering what you all think of this. If we all live in AZ, does it neccesarily mean we are fair game? or do cities and distances matter. Ladies id really to hear from you on this. preferably whether or not you're up for getting to know people farther away or not.

Be close enough to drive in 1/2 hour for dates, sex, and emergency handy man work.
Be far enough to avoid stalking and the wrath of a woman scorned and too far to walk or run to.
5-25 miles.
JMHO.

Well he's talking about distance in general. So I think it works just fine for here. I mean I've done distance relationships and they can work as long as people are willing to see each other at some point. It's hard to get past the not being able to touch each other though. But it can make SOME relationships stronger.

Distance can be overcome, like any other dating obstacle (although I would probably not venture more than 500 miles or so from home).
My last several dates have been with people that live 100 miles plus away...it works nicely because I haven't had them underfoot

Well, it does make stopping off for a quickie kind of tough, if you're 1,000 miles away or something, but if she's worth it, I can take a plane or drive REAL fast!!

Most young ladies your age are not up to that daunting task. They are just getting out of high school, going to college, and just getting their feet wet. It's not like they can just move after a year or two. Some are even joining the military. Too, many your age are party goers, dating different men etc because they are having more freedom now. If they have a chance to date local and often vs. a maybe from a distance away, the choice is simple.
Long distance relationships are hard and far few between (success stories) as it is with adults that are 30+ years of age. But in your age group? The chances are very, very, slim unless you are talking about 100 miles or so maybe 200.

I'd get to know folks farther away, but I wouldn't consider it logical to date them.

Unfortunately it does matter,,especially with gas pushing 3.00 a gallon. I have always said it is a shame that we have to put a circumferance on a chance at finding the one.

Yes, with gas prices going up, LDR's are going to be more costly.
Life in a LDR will have to change. We'll have to tighten our wallets and find ways to save.
We'll have to have more cook more at home and make use of the kitchen.
Breakfast and coffee in bed instead of the local diner.
BBQ'ing in the backyard more often and, instead of going out somewhere, spending more time "relaxing" in the hammock.
Yes, it will be difficult.
