clarkew Madison, OH age: 67	I have been to Hawaii 2x and several of the islands. Last time I did something I should not have done. See my story attached. In the summer of 1992 Donna and I flew to Hawaii. On MAUI we took a bus tour and one site we went to was a beach. Nearby was a haunted area. We TOOK 9 black small stones from the beach and after a while flew back to Calif. Approx 2 months later strange things began to happen. I was working for 2 years at the Psych Hospital from midnight to 7:30 am. So Donna was alone at night. I KNEW when I bought the house that the house on the left of me was haunted because she told me so. NOW clothes started to be relocated in our house. There were knockings on the walls. T.V. and Ceiling fans and lights would be turned on or off. Items were hidden from us and about 1-2 weeks later would be returned. I made recordings at night of what was happening and after hearing them Donna got in her car and drove to her Aunt's house to sleep there because she was afraid to stay there at night alone. She did this twice! Then she got Molly to protect her. We had the local electric company do an energy audit of the house. I went to the local library to research (in the archives) the land on which the property was located and found it used to be an orchard, NOT a cemetery! I put black string across a doorway to see if anyone got in the house at night. Nothing! The string was not broken!. It caused a lot of trouble for us! I also put talcum powder on the linoleum floor near the front door to see any foot steps that might be found but nothing appeared. It was a devil to clean up too! We called psychics to look at the house. One night a car of psychics was outside the house waiting for more Psychics to come when the neighbor on the OTHER side of us asked us who was in the car outside watching our house. We stated that we suspected we had ghosts in the house and they were psychics waiting for other psychics to arrive. She said "Ghosts! We have had Ghosts for 2 years now! " I said - Jeanne is haunted , you are haunted, now we are haunted. That's 3 houses out of 6 on the block that are haunted! So after a while we got used to the ghosts. We sold the home 2 years later but never told the Realtor or new owner about the ghosts. For all we know all the homes on the block are now haunted! We sent the stones BACK to Hawaii and they replied that they have items returned to them from all over the world. But this did not stop the haunting. We were told we should NEVER take anything off the land because Goddess Pelee does not like it! Quite a TRUE story EH?

sugahsouth Lake City, TN age: 60	Yes.....Clark ........tis true. It's been proven that ghosts do exist.....no denying it. There are spirits all around us all the time. Those sensitive can see them. I've been tested many times at universities and unfortunately, I am a seer. Mine seldom appear directly in front of me...more to the side. Only once did one appear right before me. However, he was in a hurry to get to another area and paid no heed to me. I can't begin to tell you the number of spirits that I have seen considering I've visited most every castle and cathedral in Great Britain. Also, I lived in the UK for five years. We lived near Oxford in a small hamlet that overlooked Banbury. The house was a large three story house with four bedrooms and two sitting areas. Was a large home for a young couple....especially in the UK in those times. The yard was walled in by and eight foot stone/brick wall made even taller by the fact that the front yard was four feet higher than the road in front of the house. There were huge iron gates separating the drive from the road.(I remember them as huge...hahaha) Directly across the street was the old community center. All the houses up and down the road had walls like mine or higher. This was a very private well to do area. One house almost directly opposite me had four full size canons in it's entrance hall. So you can imagine...and Irish hounds loose in it's peagravel yard. The road was only as wide as most American larger drives. Wasn't long after we moved in that things started to happen. We would hear crying in the night. It sounded like it came from the top floor..our bedroom was on the second floor. Shortly after we became accustomed to the crying, we began hearing footsteps overhead. My husband would go upstairs and check to never find a thing. So we bolted the door from the second floor that led to those stairs. Why? I don't know. Then things began to be left on the stairs....only when it was time for my husband to go to work. He often tripped and almost fell. Things would fall off shelves onto his head. Doors would blow shut on his fingers etc. Then, one night we heard a voice. It was calling my name, Luci. It was joined by the crying and pacing. Also, my baby whose room was in the old part of the house would wake up in the night crying. I would have to go in and pat his butt and he would doze back off. Soon, when he started crying, we would hear the footsteps and all of a sudden he would stop. We brought him into our bed from then on. I went to town to find out about the house. It was King Charles hunting lodge...the old part. It had been exorcised three times unsuccessfully...and his concubine who kept there was named Luci. They also had a child and my son's room was the baby's room. Coincidence? I dreamed about a dark bearded man similar to Charlie for years before I ever knew my husband. I started saying goodbye to Charlie when I went out. Bad idea..if I ever forgot, he would slam doors and throw books on the floor. The tricks on my husband got worse and worse. So, I decided to have the leader of the Spiritualist church come to give me some suggestions. She came to the massive eight inch thick door and I welcomed her in. Only, as she started to come in it was as if there was a wall there. She couldn't. She said she was very frightened and said she wouldn't enter even if she could. She told me that he wouldn't harm me or the baby..for some reason she got the impression that he loved us(she knew nothing of the history). She did say though, that he would harm my husband any way he could and that we should leave asap. Of course, we didn't. One morning, my husband was just bopping down the stairs and tripped on something(?) tumbled head over heals. He landed at the bottom of the stairs face up just as a dagger fell off the wall and embedded itself in the floor beside his head. Now he wanted to move. He went on to work....which would be till four in the morning. We had a pea soupper that night where sound echoes forever. I started seeing flashes of light around the outside windows..one, then the next, then the next...etc. I heard running...it could have been anywhere. But, it's sound seemed to follow the light as it moved from window to window. Soon, it abruptly stopped in front of that ancient massive door which was bolted with the largest bolts you have ever seen top and bottom. The familiar sound of the creaking door opening filled the house. I sat in the living room holding my baby panic stricken. The only thing between me and the hall was a frosted glass door. Instead of coming into the room where I was, the bright white figure of a man slowly walked up the stairs to the second floor, then to the third floor and began calling my name. That's when I rushed out the open door into the fog and onto the road below. I ran barefooted clutching my baby through that dark night, momentarily screamed as the hounds rushed their gates. I arrived at our friends soaking wet in nothing more than a filmy night gown. There was no way to tell my husband to not go to that house. He did, but, then went to our friends house to see if they knew where I was. You see, he had been locked out of the house completely......by someone or something. We moved the next day. Rolled razor wire was put up around the house by the owners a month later after they found the body of an 18 year old boy dead on the stairs......heart attack. [Edited 1/17/2008 7:01:00 AM]

clarkew Madison, OH age: 67	My Gosh Luci what an incredable but certainly believable story!! Thank you for the response. By the way, when I was a young man, I enlisted in the USAF and served overseas for 3 years. 1 year in East Anglia at RAF Sculthorpe (Near Norwich,Fakenham). I knew a Sgt. who was married and lived off base in an old large English home and of course he would tell similar, but less frightening, stories. That was in 1961. Then the Berlin wall went up and I was transferred to Chaumont AFB, Chaumont, France. Once on the continent I managed to travel a great deal. Returned stateside in Aug. 1964. Just served 4 years in Active A.F. While on the flight line in France with nothing to do but guard an alert reconnaissance bomber, other guards guarding their own R.B.66's would talk to each other and one in particular who lived off base with his spouse next to a cemetery told me tales of her being alone at night with the dog and things which happened while he was on duty. Animals of course can see/sense other entities and when Donna got Molly (our Dog), we enjoyed many very happy years with her. Then in late 2006, Molly was 14 yrs. 7 1/2 months old and I had the displeasure of having to put her to sleep. She is buried in the ground behind the 160 year old home we shared in Pleasantville, Ohio. Then Donna and I got divorced - final March 2007, she purchased a condo nearby to where we ued to live and I managed to buy a ranch home here in Madison, Ohio. We still communicate weekly and sometimes we see each other. Fortunately my brother is also nearby and we acommunicate daily. Well always gld to hear from you and love the story of your experiences!!

Sending the stones back was right move, the living can send the ghosts back to the stones by simply stating thier aurthority over thier domain in this life and informing spirits they are unwelcome and unwanted intruders. Wouldn't hurt to say sorry to Pelee for mistake made in error which might have caused disturbance in her sphere and anyone else you feel might have been disturbed by the ruckus!!! Just tell all who are unwelcome to return to thier own space should work and should be done ASAP at the edge of all properties concerned!!! You can shout mentally not physically or visualize each place and send the thoughts there OK. I come from a very long line of Freemasons and we have dealt with this issue for centuries!!!! luv4lif Salt Lake City, UT age: 67	Interesting. I was on Maui in November. I would have enjoyed this info and looked into it, had I known. Only things I brought back was a bit too much sun, and junk from Hilo Hatti's. Oh yes, some pleasant memories. You speak of "we" and you are on a singles site. Just wondering.

1mauibabe1 Lahaina, HI age: 52	ALOHA FROM MAUI Yes Pele will follow her rocks all over the world.... How ever I have seen the "Lady in White" also known as Madam Pele. She looked at me nodded walked past looked again nodded and walked in to the ocean She touched my heart when I was debating on going back to the mainland.... I am still here... I have had experiences with ghosts that I don't know. One my daughters named Mr Friendly. all he did was get them in trouble by turning on lights and stereos AFTER they left for school... I know cuz I would check everything and then take them to school..... My late husband is with me from time to time and my mom, lived in Utah, sat on my bed in CA the night she passed a way. I just talk to them all and tell the annoying ones to go away... As to Pele if you see the news about the Big Island Of Hawaii and the recent lava flows look at the red you may see her face or her body I have... When anyone comes to the Island Please have respect for the culture and the ledgens They have to have started some where.....
