Today was just such a bad day. hard day at work, its been snowing, brother and sister forgot thats today was my birthday,and my pay check got screwed up. I was completely bummed......until I picked Aiden up from day care.....He had put a single candle in a cup cake for me and was singing happy birthday to me. I almost cried.....What was the greatest thing that your child has done for you?

I must say THAT is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard for a child to express his love to his father. My son does a lot of sweet things but I must say the sweetest thing he does is care for me when I am sick, for example, bringing me water, soup, fixing his own dinner, setting up my room so I have everything I would need, etc...

My 8 yar old daughter writes me little love letters all the time. She says I'm the best mom in the "hole wide world". I think that means more than the fanciest card I've ever gotten.

I have custody of my 14 month old grandson and have had since his birth. I will be 49 this year talk about starting over!! I have been divorced for 2 years after being married for 31 1/2 years. Some days can be very difficult as I am still dealing with things left over from a nasty divorce. Then my grandson will smile at me and makes me forget, even if for just a moment, about all my troubles and that I am very blessed to have him in my life. I truely believe that children are God's gift to us!!!!

Bobby you have a sweet son. My son earns an allowance and he saved up about $40. One day I was telling him that I was tired so when we got home that would would eat something fast and go to bed. He told me since I was tired he wanted to buy me dinner so I would not have to cook and then give me the rest of the money to help pay bills. He is a very giving 10 year old.

My 9 year old son woke up before me one Saturday morning and decided to make breakfast for the two of us. He fixed me a bowl of applesauce and a bowl of pears plus toast (buttered of course). I loved it and of course I had to brag about it to my other co-workers on Monday.

My son wrote "I love you mom" on the bathroom window after his nighttime shower so that when I took mine in the morning, it would reappear for me!!! What a nice surprise!
