First and most important: I sincerely wish to thank Dustin for developing this site and allowing me to meet and “Hook Up” with my heart’s desire. Having known folks who have tried and failed at the “Chemistry” approach and the “Harmony” approach, I believed that finding a perfect match was next to impossible. This site has clearly proven that wrong. THANK YOU DUSTIN! .....Hope I can repay the favor some day.
Update to profile: For you that don’t know, I have stood at the crossroads of my life and have found a direction down a path which miraculously opened before me, not apparent in the dusty wind clouding the avenues. I met V2 / Donna through simple conversation, thinking she was an old girlfriend by her photo and location. Before long, we were chatting and soon realized we were complexly twinned on multitudes of levels. It still shocks me the uncanny way we connect; the depth of these similarities cannot be explained to me logically…… From the “big picture” view of similar politics, religion, philosophy, etc., to the miniscule details in foods, music, aspirations, etc…….. There are very few things we do not have in common…. We are a perfect fit every sense of the word.
Simple words of conviction and wisdom : Reading 007Shark’s goodbye post the other day made me realize that this site has completed its course in my life; DH has served its purpose in allowing me to meet my cliché “soulmate”. As stated by Shark, this is a dating site and its intention is to allow for introductions in meeting and dating. The use for DH is now completed in my life, therefore, its time for Che to say goodbye. Long distance relationships are difficult enough in not having the luxury of being together when we desire; the added stress of continuous flirting and the possible consequences which arise from being hit upon has proven that my DH life has now passed.
What I’ve learned: You get from this site what you put into it. I have never misrepresented my opinions, my beliefs, my thoughts, or myself. If I could change one thing about Che, it would have been my approach in posting. Rather than goofing around incessantly in “Chat” and “Sex and Dating”, posting one liners and playing a small part of my personality, I would rather I had been a bit more serious and posted in other topics, but I am what I am. Unfortunately, I think the majority folks have seen a small part of Che’s personality as I inhibited the other levels to shine through but hey, I was never phony; I only and always posted what was on my mind. If I ever offended anyone, shocked anyone, or pissed them off, I apologize. I always walked the line, but never got suspended or bounced……….I am kinda proud of that.
My advice: Be yourself, always be real, and be honest if you are looking for a lasting relationship. For those that wish to play, you will attract players, for those that wish combat, the battle is always ready. Love is the most powerful force, universally extent in all relationships, be it for love interests or for community citizenry; STOP ALL THE FIGHTING AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER! You don’t have to agree, but try to understand their perspective and how it was formed. A kind, sincere word is more powerful than a shouted insult.
My future: Having met V2 / Donna, I am now focusing on beginning our future together. I need to cherish this flower that DH has brought me, fertilize it with truth, honesty and action, and allow it to bear fruit to nourish a full life together.
To all my friends: I thank you for being there, helping me through some difficulties and lending a shoulder and ear. I will be sending out emails with my regular email address, please stay in touch! For those of you who wish more of Che, you will find me between the notes of a song, drifting with the moisture in the air, illuminated under the prismatic light of a rainbow….. emanating from the radiant brightness of Donna’s smile! Wow, am I lucky or what?! This man has stolen my heart and I’m happy to ensure its safety to him.
I too was touched by what Shark wrote. After Cajun and Soul’s decision to leave, I knew it was only a matter of time for us too. The forums are fun and addicting, but they take time and energy away from other aspects of life that need my attention.
I’ve made some great friendships here. I will miss the chance to catch up with everyone in Klassy’s or just jumping into a thread to say hi to someone I haven’t seen in a while. I hope we can stay in touch. Just know that there are so many of you who have made me laugh when I needed it, lent a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to vent into that I will always be willing to do the same for you.
Busy.... my toes will always be yours! It's been a blast getting to know such a fine freak as yourself!
