It was great to meet all of the new people and I dragged one or two in myself. The howling monkeys are fantastic, beautiful people. Alma is absolutely a lady. There was some shy ones, but even they had a smile on their face during the games. Joe, hope I didnt crush your lap. It was all part of the game, Sweetheart. Nice lap, btw. I can honestly say I gave and recieved so much that Its impossible to mention every person, every good conversation or gesture. Some were shy, some were open. I guess I was one of the shy ones, NOT. If there is a Bath Meet next year, Ill be the first on the bandwagon. I might even bring a tent. lol Til next year , My Bath family......

outdoorsjunkie Havre de Grace, MD age: 62	Horseshoe Tournament was Saturday at 2 pm. What great fun we had! They placed 11 pairs of cards on a table face down. Ladies selected a card first and then the guys selected a card. You were then matched with your partner - whomever had the other same card. Don't know how we did it but Anne Marie and I selected DHU folks to be our partners. Go figure. What are chances of doing that again ever!!!! After a little bit of practice, the games began. They started with raking the pits. The advancement of Teams. The DHU participants were Dave and Alma; Anne Marie and Mike; and Bob L (who partnered with Dave W - non DHU) We had two scorekeepers. Donna did the front pit. Tyler was the high scorer - making nine points!!!!! His "white" opponent made the first ringer. He topped it off with two "red" ringers. When you have ringers, whomever is at top gets all the points. Hence 3 ringers equals nine points. Bob More Bob - this time enjoying a beer!!
