It seems that most men today do not want a relationship that leads to marriage. They either want sex or someone to "shack up" with. Are there any men who still want marriage?

Most men have been burned by previous marriages or just not willing to invest the time and emotional commitment it takes to nurture a lasting relationship. Most men are also not romantically inclined. It is too often considered gay for many men to show the romantic, sincere, caring, affection it takes to form a lasting bond. On the other hand...(always walk a mile in the other guys shoes) if 2 people aren't sexually compatible that could and probably would doom any chance of a lasting relationship. The key point is, in this day and age, very few men will go the full distance to marriage without a little taste of the pie, and older conservative values are no longer the norm, but, are rare and valued commodities in today's male.

I agree with you. But it seems that most just want the sex and no commitment. And anything worthwhile is worth taking time with. If you don't take the time to get to know each other then you have nothing after the burst of lust has worn off.
