Damn skippy.. Hell I was kinda whinny yesterday but only in the 30s chat. Oh well I got over it when I got the news that my friends son was killed in Afganistan yesterday. Then I kinda felt my own issues where really petty.

So very sorry and saddened about the soldier killed in Afganistan. I agree with you about the whiney crap. I spent a year in Nam (67-68) as an infantryman, grunt. Saw many people die. The conditions we lived in were not the best to say the least. When I get a little whiney, I just remember when and say to myself, "Remember? Shut the hell up"!
As for me, I wake up in America in a comfortable house/food/clothing/job/family/Jesus loves me/etc...and are fortunate enough to be raised in the south. It's all good.

had 2 friends pass away last Saturday,, one was a very amazin man i grew up with and one was a friends son that was killed in a boatin accident , life is short,, I thank God everyday for my wonderful friends and family,,, If i dont say it enough,,, Thanks for being there for me, luv ya

I agree and disagree, both, with this perspective.
While incessant whining and complaining is annoying, to say the least; sometimes we express our grievances, with certain situations, in hopes that we can receive a deeper human connection. Sometimes, as the emotional beings that we are, we take comfort in the connection that only another educated, experienced and caring human being can offer.
If I express my remorse for the loss of a loved one, the aching nag of a cracked or broken heart or simply that your neighbor's dog pewps on your lawn and they refuse to take the responsible and appropriate actions to clean it up; sometimes that deeper connection to humanity is what another may seek.
The thing that i agree with you most about is; all the 'why are women here so mean' 'why don't people reply to me .005 seconds after i send a message' 'a girl turned me down for a date and i had to spend 2hours on the suicidal hotline'; these things make me effin crazy too, lol.
