Why is that I have met several guys who seems genuine; hours of talking and texting, to then mid sentence have them just vanish into thin air? Why do some some guys say that they are on their way to meet me but never show up? Why is it that I read on guys profiles; that they are not interested in games, and yet as far as I can tell they play more games than Bob Barker? Why can't some guy just be honest? Why do some guys say that they want an honest woman, and then indulge in behavior that is the antithesis of the goal? Why do some guys feel that it is ok to ask me to engage in a sexual act with them, without me knowing what they look like, to then be verbally abused for asking if they have a picture? Why are some guys habitual liars? Why do some guys work feverishly to destroy something that has not even really begun to be built? Why? And yes for the record I am seriously livid right now! legaleye Columbus, OH age: 58	As said, its a two way street. Since you date men, you deal with men who have those traits. Men who date women will claim the women are the same way. There are just a lot of dysfunctional people out there. At the same time, people dont have patience, and also, both men and women, have unrealistic viewpoints about how life really works. When I first got divorced many many years ago, I was to say it mildly, shocked at how many people will just turn into date no shows. Same with the number of people who relied on pills and stuff to keep them walking a straight line, so to speak, legal and otherwise. But nothing surprises me anymore, and I have no real expectations about a date anymore, so cant be disappointed, only pleasantly surprised. Laughing here... seriously livid... so you shaved your legs for this one?

Don't get the intimate thing going until you are in a few dates unless there is chemistry and you want to jump his/each others bone(s). Both men and women can be weird and so very hard to read. Mine I am seeing has been talking about marriage, or moving in together. I am not ready for either. We have just been at this thing since April, and I know I have a wondering eye. My new job there are guys who flirt, especially the young ones, what is up with the 19 to 25 crowd, wanting a large almost 47 year old? Do they need a mama? That's subject for another thread. Ha, ha. I do hope things go well for you. That is why they say Men are from Mars and Women from Venus. Both too hard to figure out.

Been my experience that older women are safer with 1 exception(topic for another thread). Easier to get along with and easier to talk to. When I was younger every major relationship I had was with an older woman except for 1, and no I didnt need/want a momma. Younger women have a tendancy to be overly self conscience... hope I spelled that right Older women are more laid back and dont want games. Of course I can speak only from my own experience. Chuck

This typically happens between 28-30 years of age. It is at this stage that you begin to solidify and become the person that you will be for the rest of your life. This is not a "your young" type comment, it is simply factual. And the point I making is this; the way you view what you want or need in a relationship will change drastically over the next 4-6 years. At my age I want something much concrete and stable. More from dating to relationship and comfort level quickly. Yes f course there are days that we all need laid and days that we need more emotional support. The difference is: with anyone or someone!
