I've never heard of "parents without partners"..
When you went were there plenty of people or was it kind of dead? Just curious... But that sounds like a better way to kind of meet people then the internet..\

I think the group may have died down a bit. My father, aunt and uncle were members through '70's-90's. Uncle met his 2nd wife there. Father met his fiance there. I, as a child, met a lot of good friends there, that were going through similar experiences. So not only good for the parent but good for the kids. There was a lot of family oriented activities, camping, game nights, sports related events, dude ranch weekends. I would like to join, but the chapters near me are more than an hour in either direction. So the choice is a difficult one.
I think it is a positive group, for both the single parent and for the children.
Just my opinion.

That sounds great.. Like I said, I think I'm gonna look into it, maybe go atleast once.. I'll just have to see for myself I guess if it's a good thing for me..

Well I checked out the website.. And the closest ones to me are in California and Colorado... So I guess I'll have to find something else, there's isn't a pwp in Utah. Sad.
