As a Single Sole Custody Father I find it amazing o how many Women I have met that have admired me for being a single father but turn me down for a date.
Are Women afraid to get involved?
Are Women to proud to get involved?
Are Women not wanting to get involved?
Why is it so hard to find a Date?

Most women don't want to deal with kids that aren't there own. I am finding that out. I haven't had a date since my wife died.

Courdon, I appreciate what you are saying 100% I think for guys my age all the potential women out there have already raised their children and are looking for that "special someone" for travel. It is extremely frustrating but at the same time I fully understand and accept it because after all they deserve it. As I am sure like you, I am in no way looking to "remother" my children. I am both mom and dad to my little ones and quite honestly I don't think I could find a better mom for them then me even if I was looking for one. The other option maybe younger women who want children as long as my age dosen't matter to them that could work I guess.
Anyway keep pushing on ....the women that run when they find out you are a responsible Sole Custody Father aren't right for you anyway and certainly not right for your children.
Extra note: I hate the courts term "custody" it implies ownership....like children are possessions or chatle so I use the term Parentship...Sole physical,and legal Parentship

 The same goes for single moms trying to get a date. Why don't guys like to date single moms? I would love to date a single dad, they at least understand you cant drop everything just to do something, they know and understand the struggles of being a single parent. etc...

I am finding it hard to date as well. I am a single mom and it seems that no one wants to deal with my time constraints. I am a busy mom. I work full time and my kids have things to do and they depend on their mother for help. I would give anything to find a kind loving single dad.

We all just have to keep moving forward. There's someone out here for each of us!
I'm a responsible sole parentship Dad (great title!) and finding someone is rough. But I know in my heart she is out here somewhere, all of yours are too! Just keep looking!
