Now days, it appears to many people are on-line dating but not being honest and straight forward on who they are.. Why is that?? Surely if your looking for an honest relationship..you would be honest up front as well..

You ask why is that.....because they are a**holes. I just spent 6 months of my life with a total liar. he lied to me every time he opened his mouth. just recently found out I had the wrong last name, that he is probly married, never moved to NC like he said he did, is still local and in Pa. Upon thinking about time frames for everything he said, it all makes sense now. and people wonder why online dating sucks. I can get better by staying away from onliners and just keeping friends. They treat you so much better and dont take you for granted.

It happens to alot of people, not just online relationships. I hope you did the right thing, which is let his spouse know...thats what I did with my ex's lay. When I got my divorce decree, it was one of my happiest days. Not everyone is a liar. I met some nice people here, although never got into any serious relationships with them.

What I have found is that the men only want sex. While I am not a prude, I save sex for relationships, and by that I mean more than a few dates! These guys on line attack you on the first date! They are like sex starved 15 year olds with raging hormones! Their prior e-mails do not indicate that they will act this way. I purposefully mention no sex until a relationship and they remark with statements like "no pressure, I'm sure that when we finally do make love it will be wonderful". Then they are all over me on the first date! I hate it! I feel that I am not being respected as a woman who made it very clear how I feel. Has any other woman experienced this, or is it just me????

The truth will always come out so why lie in the first place ya know? Being and wanting honesty gives direction in my book. My experiences so far from this site, it's about 80% players. They tell u what they think u want to hear and play on ur heart strings. How to spot one: if they do this within the first 2 to 5 conversations without spending time together, 100% player!
