Well there is only one person on here that knows this about me. But I'm not ashamed of anything in my life so heres something y'all didnt know about me.
I have cancer. I went through Chemotherapy.
And still to this day battle it but I am on the winning side, I was pregnant with twins in 09 while having treatment done and lost one of my babies, but I have a beautiful 17 month old boy who is my world. I went through to bad relationship, I was with my ex hubby from the time I was 9 until 23 and he left me for someone on Meth after our son found a video on youtube of them in bed and asked what dad was doing. Then my ex bf seemed to like drinking more then family and found a woman who liked it as much as him. I have had a Doctor stand up and tell me and my mother I had 6 months to live and a year later I'm here talking to all you great people and telling my story.

I'm so sorry to hear of your battle hustle! You are a very strong woman and I will pray for God to bless you with a full recovery. As you already learned doctor's don't know it all. I was told my youngest would die by age 2 and he turned 8 a month ago and is doing just fine! Just keep enjoying your kids and your life!

I am also someone who has battled cancer and gone through surgery to remove it. If you need a friend to talk to that's been on the field dealing with it, even though it's only been a short time. I will listen. It alawys takes courage to tell others and it sounds like you have a truck load of it with what you have had to endure. Hat is off to you lady.

Hustlenbaby, you know this group is better than therapy, and there is no post-therapy bill at all. We are here for you gurl.
Cancer is the one disease that strikes every family. My mother had cancer and lived with me during her therapy, we went to each chemo lab together. She chose the route of "denial", she did not have cancer but submitted to the chemo to satisfy her kids. Whatever mindset gets you through it. I chose the education route, to read as much as I could because she was not able to do that.
Then I set about the entertainment thingee, kept the 12 or so patients in each chemo 4-hr drip going with topics to get their minds at ease. The nurses cringed when I began with "bats have blood buddies." Patients got involved from that point forward, we talked about whatever entered their minds, lost memories and what they were going to do with the rest of their lives. The "glam night" was the most touching, all the bald heads with beauty bags and makeup applied. I learned that hair is not necessary for beauty. Spirit is were our beauty resides.
Hustlenbaby, you do have spirit. We are with you gurl, we are here to slide in sideways with you.

2 Yrs ago today my husband went to his home in heaven.
He was a wonderful Christain husband and my best friend.
I miss him so much but have found my own life....alot of which Ky chat is a part of.
Thanks everyone for all the laughs and friendship....and some tears.
Durnago, thanks for all your support yesterday.
Not many men would have gone to the cemetery with me.
never mind cuting the dogwoods and helping me place them and then holding me while I cry .
