Is now retired.
There is no question that Brett hasn't made in impact in all of us Packers fans over the past 16 seasons.
Who do you think is going to step up and take his position?
What is your favorite Favre moment?

Is this a paper you have to write or are you trying your hand at sports reporting? jk. We were lucky to have him. We will go about football and continue kicking ass. We have a young team, and with a new qb, once they get synchronized, they will be a serious contender for years to come, just like usual. Brett will be missed. He brought (more) fame and positive memories to green bay. He was one of the guys that made a great role model for kids. He didnt die, in fact I wouldnt be suprised if he came back as a QB coach. We'll see him again.

i thought randy moss was going to replace him, but i heard talk that they were looking at aaron rodgers to replace favre.
I remember the game he played they day after his dad died. I dont remember the score but it was against the raiders. Also another time when his shoulder was dislocated in the first half and he still played the game out. He was good for that - playing with broken fingers and thumbs, sprained wrist, etc.

Brett Favre was not only a great QB but he's a great man. His work on and off the field made him the highly respected man he is today.
I watched the Press conference Thursday on Packers.com. It was almost heartbreaking..i admit i shed a few tears this week. The packers wont be the same without him, But they will move on. They will continue to fight, play and rise, because thats what Brett would want.
He will be missed ...Nobody will be able to wear the number 4 Jersey and play like him. Definitely one of a Kind.
I sure wish him luck with whatever he plans to do in the future.

Just to throw in some drama. I'm a transplanted FIB and proud of it btw! I'm glad he is no longer a Packer!!! I'll give him his props, but he was a thorn in the Bears side for to long. I vote for Rex Grossman to go to Green Bay. My favorite moment was the last Bear Packer game where we smacked the hell outta him!!!!!!!

What isn't being said near enough was his uncanny ability as an escape artist.
I think due to his durability, ability to make all the difficult throws, and the capability to win any game on any given day, he was definately among the top quarterbacks of all time.
I think A Rod isn't too bad at all, but seems prone to injury.
I bet we see Trent Dilfer as another QB option in Green Bay.

Hey archernx01
You said Brett Favre wasnt good against the bears? Its true he has had a rough couple seasons there, but here is a question and answer for you.........What is the greatest quarterback to play at soldier field? Its Brett Favre, check out the stats, Favre holds more records at your own field than any of your own quarterbacks to play there! I am not a complete packer fan, but I am a favre fan. I will miss Favre he was a true player on and off the field and a true sportsman/gentleman! .......Go Steelers!
