hes taking a crack at the fact that this state was founded by mormons. but if hes put his head out and open his eyes he'd see that Utah has quite a bit to offer all diffrent tastes and sub-cultures. he just needs to look past his wineyness

Thanks for explaining that. I grew up here and I'm NOT a Mormon and I still managed to survive. Um, to be honest, not without a bit of bitterness....but. If you quit blaming them, and just do your own thing...it all comes together and there really is a lot to do and you can work your way around the "church" and come out laughing.

I feel the same way? Does anyone want to say anything besides whine about Utah? You somehow ended up here for one reason or another, try to enjoy it, it isn't that bad, honestly!!

Utah has the best of the four seasons. We feel each one separately. We have a definite Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Not too many states have that. We also have the desert areas with beautiful scenery and the mountains with the trees and lakes. In the winter we have skiing and in the summer the mountains are wonderful for camping and hiking. I've lived short times in California and Nevada and just felt that there was no place like home!

well ms coffeelover mr monkeylover is what many call an ego tard. Utah is a very controled society there is no question I have nothing against the LDS religion merely the zealots. mr monkeylovers comment was rather uncalled for and needless nothing more then to start an arguement for him to continue to speak ill of me. I see that quite commonly in this state. Yes there is much wrong with this state. lol i have been harrassed by the police 11 times they have indirectly admited there own harrassement for me rocking out to a CD while I walk up and down the road. lol people say i'm high then too but i've never touched a thing. If that is something not to think ill of utah. I know not what to say. No doubt at this point someone will come along and make some cheap shot at me as mr monkeylover did if you will scroll up. believe me on this or not. That is up to you. the No Control Consept is proving to be very valid here in utah.

actually Question on morality.

Is it wrong to take pride in the fact I quoted law to officers sworn to uphold it?

The topic says "Bored and happy" Why are there too many people trying to make people sad? I am not Mormon but, see no problem with them or any other religion prefrences people may have. Lets say I coexist. I love living here and have since I moved here. Sure there are not as manny things to do as Vegas but I dont want to live there either. Have a wonderful day all and smile it makes people wonder what your up to.
