Bronze? There are already quite a few Mr. Potato Head statues around the state that were sponsered by different companies or the state and designed to represent many things. They were/are pretty cool ... unfortunately some were subjected to some vandalism but many are still around.... 2 that come to mind in Providence are one for Edgar Allen Poe and one that looks like the Independent Man that is on top of the state house. There was another sponspered by Narragansett Electric that was designed to look like a lightbulb. There is another at the airport. Hmmm.. now I will have to refresh my memory.. I remember it being like a treasure hunt to drive around the state to locate the different ones

Goodness, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Quite a talented group of people designed them... very creative.
Quite a few are located in Providence and there are also a lot in Warwick.
Here's a link of directions for some located in Providence. This would make a fun evening on a night when WaterFire is being presented. A walk or drive around the city ending at the banks of the rivers lined with huge braziers of burning wood and the sounds of International music filling the air along with the smells of dozens of food stands... grilled pizza and fried dough covered with cinnamon sugar... yummy!!!
