I have no idea...no facts anyway...whether Obama is a risk. But I can't help but worry that somewhere hidden inside the man there might be some muslim sympathy. The news media certainly don't wave that issue about...and maybe I should just keep my mouth shut to. But to my simple way of thinking, any risk is too much risk.

I think thee is a lot of worry where there doesn't need to be. Count one is the fact that Obama is NOT a Muslin. Fact two is that even if he were the majority of the people are not El Qaeda or their ilk. They are peaceful people. Not every Black is Louis Faracon, nor is every Muslin Osama ben Lauden. Just as you can not call everyone who is white and south of theMason-Dixon a KKK sympathizer nor everyone in Idaho a White Supremest just because theArian Nations had it's headquarters in Northern Idaho in the past. I understand what you are saying about generalizing or stereotyping people. I didn't even say he was Muslim...cause I don't know other than what the media reports and what I see on the internet. I am only talking about the RISK of having a sympathizer in the whitehouse.

I don't think there is arisk of his being a sympathizer. I do worry about John McCain an Hilary Clinons bed fellows. Frankly I believe Hillary Clinon is more big business thn John Mc Cain is

I cannot say if Obama is a risk or how much of a risk he is, but if I were you, I'd use protection (verified latex).

All politicians are a risk......Can anyone tell me why a person would spend millions to get elected to a job that pays approximately $200,000?....of course the payoffs are great after the election is over, we just don't see them......they could be deposited in a foreign bank and we would never know. next time you get a chance to vote, you might want to think of voting for an educator, electrician, a farmer etc., instead of more lawyers....who continue to make more laws that you and I can break and make more money for lawyers......just a thought...but im only a 750 pound gorilla in the room...

Personally, I liked the peanut farmer...but I am obviously in the minority there. I don't mean to say that he had a successful presidency....bad world events and bad advisors (I think) led to only 1 term for a pretty good fella.

Ron Paul might be the best candidate, but it is highly unlikely that he can win. When Bill Clinton was running for office, I voted for Ross Perot...both times. It was basically a vote against the other candidates. This time though, I think I'll have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils in order not to waste my vote.

Don't put too much weight on education. Some of the dumbest people I've ever known were those who had so much pride and arrogance in their fancy education that they were too stupid to realize that what they were trying to do, while it worked in the text book, was not working in reality. Not to say that Obama is one of these. I'm just saying that it could happen. That's the risk I'm afraid of.

Does Obama have any real world experience or has he only gone from school to the Senate? If that's all he's done then I really don't want to vote for him becase I'd hate to think that a Harvard text book is running our nation's military and economy.

He has at least worked to get where he is with little or no help from anyone and I think he has respect for others who do the same. His muslim dad abandoned him, why would he have any love for his dads religion? He is a politican and I have never seen any of them walking on water. Risk is a big question, by Nov. anything could happen!
