Has anyone been in a tornado storm or come close to one or seen it in the distance?
Let's hear the stories...

LOL! I just posted this story in another thread...
July 23, 1975
Tornado almost completely destroyed Canton, Illinois. It was a bright sunny day. Suddenly, the sky turned green. Within 10 minutes, we were in the worse storm that I had ever seen. 1 hour later, my hometown was just a huge pile of debris. The entire downtown area was wiped out. It took over a year to clean up the mess.

I think we had one, too, vet. It knocked down the shed.
Not sure about the month, but I remember it was after my father
passed away.
