I've been on here since Feb of this year, and I gotta say, the men I've come across leaves alot to be desired. I didn't come on here for endless chatting. And as harsh as this may sound, I'm not trying to have a bunch of IMing friends. The reality of it is, once I've settled in a relationship, I won't have the time to be IMing with the ever growing list of IMgers. They seem to be content with that first level of contact. They talk about every little thing under the sun. Idle chatter. They seem to have no initiative to meet. I'm not one to mince my words, I say exactly what I want. I'm sure there are sites out there if you just want to chat your life away. But this is supposed to be a dating site. But not alot of dating going on. Am I the only one with this problem?...

miss, alot of us r having the same issues on this site. there r plenty of ppl who r dating, as a matter of fact, there is a thread about it over in the chat room. i have been told, sometimes, it takes a longer to find a person who u can trust and build some sort of relationship and comfort level, before u meet them. the best advice i've been told is to just hang in there a little while longer. good luck.

When I stated there's no dating going on, I don't mean meet online today, and meet in person tomorrow. Yeah your going to correspond for a while, but after while, I'd like to meet in person. See if we have what it takes to go anywhere. Let's be honest, if you met someone one randomly in person (grocery store, book store, coffee place)and something about him caught your eye, besides his rugged good looks. If you exchanged numbers, it would not take you that long to arrange a first date. What's the difference with online. Assuming the person your talking to online is honest and upfront. And the pic posted is really him/her, and they said exactly what they meant in their profiles. Why does it take so long. No I wouldn't bring him anywhere near my home just yet. But yeah I would meet (Of course it would be a public place, just like it would be if I went out with the guy I met randomly).

I've found it both ways... some want to talk forever and some want to meet instantly.. then there are a few that are in between. It just depends on the person, if you click, and how well you click. I guess Drummr is right.. just be a little more patient. BUt if you feel it's been too long.. ask about it. IF they are not up for meeting.. maybe move on. There are some that are happy with just chatting online. I've found that many of those are married. Sad.. but it happens. Good luck!
