I've been told I'm a kid at heart. Maybe that's so, all I know is I would like to find someone who enjoys the same "adventures" as I do. Someone who will laugh out loud with me as we go white water rafting or ride the roller coaster at Disneyland. Someone who also enjoys art museums, the ocean, movies, gold mining, whitewater rafting, 4- wheeling, dance, amusement parks, fishing and traveling. (My ultimate goals are to sky dive and scuba dive. Haven't had any volunteers to go skydiving with me, but I know you're out there somewhere!) At the end of the day, I would like someone who likes to hold hands and walk along the beach in the moonlight, maybe even dance to our own music. (guess I'm a romantic as well as a kid at heart). Just enjoy each other's company and possibly carry on a conversation deep into the night. Someone to share the July 4th fireworks with and smile at each other when we watch the sunrise and sunset.
Doing projects as a team is always fun, maybe planting a new flower bed, building something together, making the most amazing meal or going shopping for that "perfect" item we both want and not stopping until we find it. Whether we ever find it or not doesn't really matter, the fun is just being together and doing things together. Oh! And must love animals. I don't necessarily mean filling the house with animals, just someone who likes them. I would enjoy meeting a man who is articulate, has an opinion on local as well as world views and is NOT MARRIED. I'm not into meeting or dating married men, that's just not me nor who I am. I would feel awful and devastated knowing that I might have contributed to the break up of a marriage.
I'm a happy, positive minded person who likes to laugh, especially at myself. I really enjoy the giggle and laughter of a child. What an amazing sound! I'm also an old fashioned girl, I like a male to open my doors for me, help me with my coat, just be a gentleman.
I find beauty in everyday things, whether it be the mighty Yosemite, the changing color of the autumn leaves, the clouds in the sky or a single flower. I believe in God and having a relationship with Him. After all, He's the one that gave me my appreciation of this beautiful world!
I love to travel and have been all over this beautiful USA and some countries overseas. I try to travel every summer, usually to the East coast and Alaska and usually for business reasons. I like to take the "unknown road" and see where it leads me. Sometimes it's a dead end, sometimes it's an oasis, but it never matters to me which one is is, it's always fun. As the old saying goes: the fun is in the journey....
I have an Organic Bath & Body business that (happily) took off faster than I anticipated. My products are in a few select stores and boutiques as well as my website.
I also work occasionally for an out of state industrial company that repairs pulp mills, etc. It's a fun and dirty job, but it's always nice to get home where I can shed the hard hat, overalls, steel toed boots, and safety glasses and get back to being a girlie girl again.
I've had men ask me if I was into horseback riding. Well, I've never really had the chance, but I'm willing to learn if you're willing to teach me!
Someone once told me that a best friend is someone who, if you were stranded on a deserted island with, would still be best friends after a year of being together. That's what I believe a relationship should be, someone who (as the saying goes) "knows all your faults, fears and vices, highs and lows, and loves you anyway." I 'm not into changing another person nor do I want them to change me. I just want them to like me for who I am and vice versa. We all have faults and vices, understanding each others faults and vices is a key to understanding the person. We're each individuals, unique in our own way. That's what makes us special.
