Welcome to my profile. Come on in, have a seat. I’m still trying to get a handle on this online dating thing. It seems a bit like trying to pick friends out of a catalog or get them on eBay (… hmmm, maybe I should check my Paypal balance).
I’m not terribly complicated, but here are a few things you might want to know: I’m a fairly laid back guy (I know, I don’t like that term either but it’s the best one I can come up with). I can get along with just about anybody but it usually takes a while to get to know me.
I believe that just about everything and every situation has some humor or absurdity (OK, some have a LOT of humor or absurdity). It may not always be apparent, but for some reason, I can usually find it.
Even though I’ve only listed a few, I have a pretty wide variety of interests and I’m usually up for something new, but my main pastime is playing music. I’ve been playing guitar ever since I was big enough to hold one. I occasionally play out in public and regularly get together with musician-friends.
In case you ever wonder what’s going on inside my head; the stable, logical engineer and the flaky, creative musician are probably fighting for control of my brain. My inner nerd and artist can usually coexist peacefully, but every now and then one or the other manages to win the day.
It would be great to find someone special but I’m not necessarily searching for any specific kind of relationship. I’d rather just see who I happen to meet and what develops. You never know.
