I'm a 41 year old disabled male from Southeast Massachusetts. Because my disability does not define who I am, I will not write about it my profile. It's my belief that people who cannot see past someone's disability are not worth the effort of getting to know. I do realize that my disability might scare some people, but if you just take the time and get to know me, you will find that I'm just your average guy. I just have to do things a little differently and do have certain things that I'm not able to do. I'm not looking for someone to take care of me, but someone I can spend time with and get to know.
I'm a friendly and loyal guy with a great sense of humor. I don't always take life very seriously and I can and do laugh at myself. I'm shy to some degree when first meeting someone in person or talking to them on the phone, but once I get to know a person, I warm right up. I've been described by friends and family as strong, kind, compassionate, gifted, inspirational, affectionate and funny. I believe in honesty and sincerity in any type of relationship. Without these two important things, a relationship can't really exist and grow. I don't play head games with others. I've had it done to me and it's not enjoyable at all. I expect the same from anyone who might be interested in me.
I have a wide range of interests, but it would take far too long to list them all. I don't want to give away anything about me because I feel that part of the fun of meeting new people is taking time in getting to know them. I'm definitely looking for romance with the right person, but I have no problem with making friends because you can never have too many. Sometimes, a friendship can grow into more.
