I was born in the Western suberbs of Detroit, I have lived in three other states as well. I currently reside in an apartment over my store in a small city in Indiana. I wear a beret in the winter, but don't care much for turtlenecks...
I have three children (8-10-12) who mean the world to me. I have changed their diapers, and sat up with them in the ER through long tear filled nights. I take my parental responsibility seriously.
I love the arts. Since regaining my freedom, I have indulged in art prints which I had framed, and have hung about my apartment. I have also been to numerous live concerts including: Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Celtic Woman, and Nightwish. I am planning to see Porcupine Tree in a few months when they are in the US.
I enjoy reading. Non-fiction and science fiction are my favorites, but I have read a lot of other types too. Neil Postman, Malcolm Gladwell, Robert Heinlein, John Scalzi, and Alexander Dumas are among my favorite authors.
I enjoy movies (primarily sci-fi and comedy), but do not watch TV.
I would like to live in Colorado, Seattle or New England someday. I hope to see England, Germany and Switzerland before I die.
I am interested in friends, dates, and casual relationships. I want someone to go to a nice restaurant with. I want people to go to a movie or a museum with. I would love someone to snuggle with while watching a video.
