Years ago I came onto this site as a shy gentleman that couldn't walk up to a strange woman and introduce myself. Thought these sites would be easier for a guy like me, they aren't.
I enjoy sharing my thoughts with folks.
Not sure I am interested in finding a relationship. Once thought I was. Don't do one night stands or such so don't get me wrong. I enjoy talking with people and making friends.
Besides I have way too many negative things that make me unsuited for being with women.
1. I am a turtle farmer. It is a slow paced life as they don't run very fast.
2. I am a poor man. Last time I was out a bum gave me a dollar cause he felt sad for me.
3. I am so boring that the last time I went out to a club "everyone" in the club fell asleep.
4. I am so self centered that the sun revolves around me. Only during the day of course as I turn out the switch at night so I can sleep.
5. I have this very odd personality of mine and my jokes are so dry that even a walk through a desert seems like a rainy day.
I am so bad that one day I couldn't shave because the guy in the mirror kept making faces at me.
In all seriousness. I've accepted the idea that I'll most likely be alone the rest of my life. All in all that isn't so bad. I am proud about what I've become as I've grown older and wiser. Filled with understanding and learning to accept things as it is meant to be. People aren't really as bad as some of you think. You just haven't learned to understand and accept people as they truly are. So I spend time on the forums from time to time trying to encourage folks to step back and take another look at the world.
There will always be good as long as there is hope. There will always be hope as long as love exists in this world. There will always be love as long as you open your heart and realize that love isn't something you find, seek out or will one day trip upon. Love is something that lives within each person.
And if you like some of the ways I put things. I am also a Poet. Wrote a book of poetry in 2004 for you poet lovers. Just ask and I'll tell you how to find it. Yes, this is more of an advertisement to sell my books than to find a woman. LOL
