I REALLY love to fish, I would love to fish from a boat. I do not subscribe to the "catch and release" fish molesting philosophy, I CATCH AND COOK 'EM.
I am a great (but not "gourmet") cook and baker, from scratch. I appreciate alcohol, rarely. I do smoke cigarettes.
I don't abide or practice unkind, hurtful, or cutting digs and "put downs" and pity those who live with that. I'm LCMS Lutheran, so premarital sex and living together are not in my future with anybody.
I think by over 62 a good man should have something to show for his life's work and efforts. I am not looking for a man who is a Drunk, Addict, Promiscuous, Pervert, Dishonest, Gambler, Liar, Loafer, Excon or Selfish Self-centered Aspie. I'm taking inventory, cleaning house, deciding what to bring and what to leave behind as I move into the next chapter, widowed after a 44.5 year marriage. So far, I am pursuing swimming at the YMCA, target shooting at the rod and gun club, fishing (from the bank, no boat) garage sales, and keeping up a home. I'm looking for someone to help me learn to ride the motor scooters I bought.

Probably my weight, or that I limp.
I'm not happy with the weight either and it is the product of 9 years extreme sedentary care-giving and sitting bedside with mother with bone cancer and bedridden DH, till God took them home. I promised them I would never put them in a nursing home and I kept my promise. The weight IS coming off. Unfortunately, too much walking aggravates my back(prolapsed disk) rather than helping.
I'm not sure if the limp will go with the weight, but I hope.
I like country and western music the best but appreciate everything except heavy metal, hip hop and rap.
I generally read non-fiction.
I usually like all but horror flicks.
I prefer my food to be conventional meaning minus raw fish, soy, sprouting anything or moving.
I'm a news junkie.
I enjoy "survivorman", man vs wild, Eureka, Bones, House, Monk, Warehouse 13, Burn Notice, All the English comedies, particularly "Last of the Summer Wine" Murder she wrote, Mythbusters, and most documentaries. I would like to travel some and now know most of the fun of any experience is sharing it with someone you care about. I am supportive and appreciate an old fashioned clean cut gentleman.
