I suppose I would like someone who will keep up with me, keeping me active too: spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. I really want to be a wife and mom, run a home, and be hospitable, so obviously I would need someone who desires a homemaker as well as a lover. I am very physically affectionate, holding hands, giving massages, sensual, so I don't think I could be with someone who didn't like to be touched or like to cuddle. I love to be outside, exploring nature in some way, in water or hiking- I'd love to have a friend to enjoy this with. I like to kayak, sail, body surf, scubadive, snorkel, play frisbee, take walks, backpack. I'd like someone who is protective and helpful, but doesn't treat me like a baby. I love to discuss and learn history and theology, philosophy and psychology; I love to read and be read to. I'd like to share this with my partner. I'm a cat person mostly. I like to try to cook new entrees and love to clean. I enjoy running almost everyday and doing workout videos or some other form of exercise, but I hate working out in a gym. I don't mind being alone doing these activities though. I would love a man who is a strong leader-not pushy or show-offy, but someone who is sincere, kind, and confident, hard-working and honest. I would like to travel more, adventure travel particularly, but am not always brave enough to do it on my own. I spend my summers working at a camp on a lake where I sail and swim; I spend my school year teaching and love it. I'm extremely close to my parents and siblings and cousins and would expect to only marry someone my family enjoys as well. I like to have a beer or wine in the evening, so someone who is against drinking might not be a good fit. It is pretty important that I find someone who is a Christian or agnostic, willing to study and learn and discuss the Bible. I was raised a Christian, but am currently questioning. I am not a partier, but just like to be with those I know intimately, hanging out at home or outdoors. I don't mind going out though because I'm very friendly; I just don't go out that often. I am definitely not a late night person, but don't mind if my match stays up while I sleep because I enjoy my quiet mornings. I enjoy watching sienfield and movies and nature programs and history channel, I enjoy listening to classic rock, blues music, folk music, classical music, books on tape. I enjoy reading classical literature, historical fiction, middle/highschool literature, philosophy, history, theology. I like board games, scrabble being my favorite. I like to help those in need, my students or others.
