---1st----,Who am I ? (other than a 54 year young smoking mom who happens to be very liberal) I'm a Recovering Alcoholic working the Steps. 13 steppers & those who do not understand the disease need not apply. I am twice divorced & very proud to own my own home & SUV. I am a practical person. I only cook for those I love & clean up after the persons I love cook. . I attempt to live by the Golden Rule every day with honesty as a guiding force. I am very spiritual, accepting all who practice different religious beliefs (the key word in that sentence being practice). I am somewhat Agnostic. I am NOT an atheist. I am very genuine and empathetic; it is not an act for attention.

----2nd---- What do I do ? I am currently assisting my daughter to locate a college of her taste and liking. I read mostly non-fiction, such as TIME weekly and OPRAH monthly. I am now reading the book "War in the Name of God." I watch t.v ,enjoying PBS for the news and British comedies for the dry humor. I also watch DVDs ,enjoying anything by Tyler Perry, action adventure & comedy. I delight in watching & listening to music DVDs. I grew up in the Woodstock era & live in the HipHop Idol era, hence I watch anything from Marvin Gaye to Carlos Santana to Keith Sweat to John Meyer to R. Kelly. I am attempting to find loving homes for my 2 rescued pit bulls. I love to dig in dirt outside in the 4 acres I own and inside in my potted plants. I enjoy traveling to Washington, D.C.for the weekends (takes 2 hours from here) going up on Friday then returning on Sunday. I like to be reminded the world out there is a big place & it has lots to offer me if only I choose to partake of the bounty. I am attempting to rejoin the workforce.

----3rd---- Where am I going ? I desire to rejoin the workforce to add to my retirement, to travel with passport in hand, & to ultimately own a condo & a cabin. I want to own a condo in a major metropolitan area to enjoy all that city life has to offer. I want to own a cabin by a lake where nothing stronger than a trolling motor is allowed so I may paddle around in my wooden OldeTowneMaine canoe. I want to earn enough money to rent a cottage by the ocean which comes equipped with maid service, cooks, outdoor pool, indoor jacuzzi, & outdoor hot tub. My daily goal is to remain sober for that 24 hour period of time so I may be granted a chance to earn the right to have my dreams come true.
