Just looking to make some more good friends in the area since I recently moved back here....both guys and gals. At least, let's start with friendship and see if it goes anyplace...if it does, it does...if it doesn't...it doesn't.
I would like to think I can be a very good listener and a good friend, as I treat others as I want to be treated.
I am not interested in married men, womanizers, heavy drinkers, men who approach a lady with sexual content emails or players who are full of it. Out door smokers are ok. I am really a sweety pie and do like to have good clean fun, some travel, eat out, church activities, etc. I believe in live and let live and to give the other person their space and private time.
I am not looking for someone to support me financially nor vice versa. I do like to cook as time allows and I like a tidy home but I am not a fanactic. I am divorced and have been single a long time. I have met a couple of nice guys but, having moved around several times the last 5 years, I have not connected to anyone on a permanent basis.
Would prefer to meet someone within a decent driving distance so that we could meet for coffee and get to know each other but if you don't mind doing most of the driving, that's ok.
I have been blessed with a special family and many wonderful friends..they are very important to me.
I am retired but like to stay busy. I have a home-based business and I am in GREAT health for my age.
Missy, my little 11 year old toy poodle is a lot of company to me but she is getting up in years and has an enlarged heart.
My profile picture was taken Christmas, 2008 and the one sitting down was taken Christmas, 2005 with my brother in the background. I probably have changed a little...as we all do. In all fairness, I guess I should add that I don't look quite as good when I wake in the morning but I do "clean up" fairly good...haha. I like to hang out in jeans and tee shirts but also dress for the occasion.
