I've been in the area just over a year, and about ready to find a friend to date. Maybe better. I have a job I really like, and probably spend too much time on it. I'm pretty straight, maybe a bit of a nerd. Ok, more than a bit. I like outdoor things, hiking, water, whatever, but I most often end up hanging out at home lately. Looking for some jazz, and good places to go along with someone to go with me. I'm always right, except that I'm wrong a lot. Usually after being convinced I was right. I like music - classic, jazz, pop, country and all those golden oldies. Anything with a melody and something behind it. Country music is growing on me over the years, I'm a transplant. I've been burned, so I'm cautious, but would welcome a good friend. I'm shy and adventurous, if that makes any sense. Shy at first with people, adventurous with things and activities and later with people. Intimacy is a good thing. Getting there is way more than half the fun, and quality is important to me. I like to explore, and keep communication open. New ideas are great.
