I'm just putting this out there. I do not know what your child needs. None the less, this documentary was really well researched and is worthy for all parents to watch: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/medicating/

You need to contact the drug manufacturer. They have a liaison who knows how to get the medicine to your child. Even if you speak to Roche in Germany and you are in Road Island, that person will know the 60% CHIPs Benefits and they will cover another major part leaving you something similar to a co-payment but really it is a payment of good faith and contract. There are a number of foundations that also help, here are a few you can contact: 1-888-4PPA-NOW (1-888-477-2669), RxAssist http://www.rxassist.org/, Needy Meds http://www.needymeds.org/... Janssen Pharmaceutica maybe evil as f**k and is responsible for millions of animals suffering and abuse, Paul Janssen (the og Janssen Pharmy) will help you with any drug purchase even if it is a competitor. Your child can get their medicine. If your child needs the medicine right now, you can get it fairly quickly as well. At least by 9:30am east coast time.

Contact local food bank. They can put you with agencies that help with needs like medication.
