Hoping to at some point meet my ideal soulmate.

I'm 27 years old, never ever had a girlfriend in my entire life. I've asked girls out in high school but they were all either taken or not interested. Some didn't even follow up on it after they said they'd think about it. Sad really. I have Aspergers syndrome, but why should that mean I can't have a girlfriend even a fairly attractive one too? And most importantly, why should that stop me from fulfilling my dreams and living my life fully? I've had friends as well in high school but not friends that would usually stay with you as friends for life or ones that would usually come over to visit and vise versa. I've never had those kind of friends in my life either except my older brother's friends but they're mostly his but at least they care. The point here is that I don't want to be lonely all my life and I'd like to have someone who loves and understands me and vise versa and who I can talk to and etc. and even so, having a special friend, girlfriend around would more than possibly help to motivate and encourage and help me to do more things that I couldn't do alone.
