Where Oh Where...
by texaspixie at 6/10/2015 6:11:42 PM

Do warm waters halt????? This question seems impossible to answer.... My thrill of the chase search ended with no luck in finding the treasure chest of gold.. I did however meet a few monks and was tempted to "borrow" their canoe but decided against it.. As luck would have it my search took me to a church inside of a canyon.. Think it was called church on the river or something like that. A very strange place to say the least. Searched the canyon around it and only found HUGE poops of an unknown animal, was scared to death to run into whatever it was that left such a big deposit...

Haven't given up yet, gonna return next month with my sister. I think this go around I'm gonna search in Colorado..

But..... I do not know where warm waters halt.. I NEED HELP... The poem goes...

As I have gone alone in there
And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old.

Begin it where warm waters halt
And take it in the canyon down,
Not far, but too far to walk.
Put in below the home of Brown.

From there it's no place for the meek,
The end is ever drawing nigh;
They'll be no paddle up your creek,
Just heavy loads and water high.

If you've been wise and found the blaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Just take the chest and go in peace.

So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answers I already know,
I've done it tired, and now I'm weak.

So hear me all and listen good,
Your effort will be worth the cold.
If you are brave and in the wood
I give you title to the gold.

(THRILL OF THE CHASE)

This poem is suppose to contain nine clues that if followed precisely will lead u to the chest... Somewhere in the Rocky Mountains north of Santa Fe...

Please, someone tell me, where oh where do warm waters halt????

This guy wants people to trip off licking the Colorado River frog, to find this treasure it seems, lol. It's going to take someone not looking for it, to find it.

Warm waters halt at any boundary where they are literally, metaphorically or metaphysically transformed to any temperature other than warm. For example, let’s say the boundary is what’s inside Yellowstone Park, where through geothermal activity, hundreds of geysers send rockets of hot (not warm) water into the sky. They fall back to earth, where they seek the lowest level (as water is wont to do) and, having cooled some, contribute to nearby streams and rivers. The rivers then cross outside the boundaries of the park. Melissa, your smile is enough treasure for me

@Rocky.. I read online that a man living in Washington has traveled to the Rockies 40 times looking for it.. Forrest Fenn said it's so easy to figure out a 12 year old can do it.. And here I am..

Howdy Lisa.. Lots of people have been traveling to Yellowstone to look for it. That's where my sister (Crystal) wants to look... I'm thinking its somewhere not a lot of people usually go... I brought the book thrill of the chase while I was in Santa Fe.. Fenn is an avid Brown trout fisherman so I'm thinking maybe a fishing spot..? The book is suppose to contain suble clues, but it made me more clueless..

They halt at the rainbows end,c'mon, you didnt know that? No wonder you cant find the treasure! I usually ask the nearest Unicorn...found many a treasure that way! Does this have anything to do with the Superstition mountains?

Aye,'tis ,indeed,BUT,what do yee think they're ridin? (Pegasus was off flyin' about and the Dragons were guarding their virgins..talk about a treasure!). I actually love the thought of finding treasure. My son and I, when walking in the woods, will dig into the dirt surrounding the stumps of trees that have pulled out of the ground...we found a perfect old blue/green hand blown bottle in one,not worth a whole lot,(50$),but,ya NEVER know! Good hunting to you!
