Infatuation. by azmommiex2 at 4/26/2010 10:08:40 AM What is it and why do we feel it? I always fall for those who are thee impossible. You know the ones on the other side of the country. Or the ones who are married or taken. I know it's not genuine feelings or desires. Merely infatuation. Yet it at times controls me. I have to force myself to stop and think......R, what the f**k are you doing!?!?! It's probably just loneliness that makes us think something is there and even possible when really.......it's not. And sometimes i think subconsciously i fall for these unrealistic types because i know it'll NEVER happen. Therefore i never really have to try. Is that sad.

bacon00	4/26/2010 4:35:07 PM Could it be that you are scared of being happy or you feel that you do not deserve it. Or are you worried that you will meet someone and totally open up to them and get hurt so you want things that you can't have so you can't get hurt.
tuffytwochins	4/27/2010 12:50:10 AM No, not at all. I can relate to that, I am the same way. For me its not all that BS and psychology, its way more simple than that. If you hold yourself to a higher standard and know that you are worth so much more, then why not. You reach for the best because thats the only one worth having. Thats the only way to truly be happy. Hey if it doesnt work out then it wasnt even meant to be. And no loss. Dont compromise your values. Go for what you want. If everyone did that we could all be happy...... or alone Butt, aside from that imho Never go back to someone you have allready left. If you can be happy without them it was never meant to be. No matter how perfect(infatuated) you thought they were.
