What kind of car would you be?
by null_n_void at 11/23/2010 4:39:27 AM

Let's be creative here.
A sleek sporty model that is made for speed and not much comfort?

A luxury model that is made for long haul and to ride in total comfort.

An all terrain one made to get you there no matter what?

A pickup truck made to carry a load and take the bumps and scratches?

A old station wagon made to be for family, hauling, dependable and easy on gas?

All I know for sure is I want my car to be dependable....able to carry a load...can take a little abuse...make me feel comfy but sporty enough to not be a classic and sit idle in garage. Also like my car that can travel from his garage to mine without having to stop at every jiffy lube on way....hahahahahaha Ok...your turn. Play on it as you wish.

Caravan is a gas hog but does have some good features except those tail lights. (I have no idea of one car/truck/van from another)

Well I guess that would be a Ford Model T, built for Dependabilty, comfort and not for speed , not many left and truly a classic!

Cool djd and you would do the cranking to keep it going too I assume?

djd60

Classics you can only drive on special days right? You need to be good for every day not just one day a week.

I think I'd be much like the old pickup you occasionally see rolling through town. It's been through a lot and had its share of dings and scratches. But it's been pulled back together and patched up well. And it's still roadworthy and ready to go despite the fact it's 18 different shades of gray.

Just_ct....good answer. Can look like the devil but under the hood all is purring and yes I think answers apply to how a person is or in my little mind is how I read it.

Lol how about a Ferrari then? Fun to ride and no one on earth actually knows what makes me function?

Just_ct...you just haven't found the right mechanic to fine tune you yet or you are a 2 car family? hahahahahaha

just_ct
11/23/2010 5:11:13 AM

Lord I'm laughing. I'm more like a no family edition sitting on the used car lot of life waiting to be pawned off on the unsuspecting.

11/23/2010 5:17:11 AM

hahahahahahaha Damn...I think I need a car lot but some days I just feel like an Edsel. Tires springs and shocks gone...dead battery...no spark...won't even mention piston action. Haven't been greased or lubed whatever term I need here in ages. Chassis damaged....God I need a life!

just_ct
11/23/2010 5:37:03 AM

Lol had to go check to see if I still had my trusty grease gun.

I'd be a 57 Chevy with 327 motor and dual four barrels carb for fast action. Seeing as how they had metal on them then someone want to bang into me find out how rugged they were. Seeing as I have blue eyes have to have metallic blue paint job with white top

Did I spell it wrong? A big failure made by Ford but my grandfather bought one. It was his babe mobile and it worked for him. Harry I rather have a 56 chevy with hurst shifter and in the basic red/white.

That was a very cool car the 56 Chevy as used to see lots around. I had the Chrysler 413 Hemi with push button shift on dash. Fast car but to fast on take off & more parts on the ground underneath than confetti at Mardi Gras Ford were dogs then - kid at school had a Ford he got laughed at -especially a Ford FalconThat was not a pick up the chicks car

I can see myself as a VW bug too....compact...junk in trunk and only need a fanbelt to keep me running. Learned to drive on a 60 corvair that had little lever that was auto trans and a 42 chevy with column shift difference being like riding a moped and a boat. Moped is easier to park.

Diesel Suburban - it gets 26 MPG and pulls my 7,700 trailer so easily, I have to keep looking in the mirror to make sure the trailer is still there.

Still the laughing stock of the automotive industry, the front looked like a carp sucking on a lemon.

I would have to say the Jeep Cherokee Sport or the Chevy Blazer. The Jeep at one point was used in agriculture as it also had a PTO (power take off) on the rear. The older Dodge Power Wagon may have been slow but it did serve and perform well in many respects....

I would be so happy with a old muscle car- 442 or GTO hurst shift - 4 barrel. I like speed.

heeheehee, I'm a moped. Rough as hell on your crotch. Make your legs feel all rubbery and tired. And fun as hell to ride. Until your friends see ya with me.

Ideally, an OLDS 442 rag, heavy duty, powerful, fun runner. Hit 4k and go. Actually, GMC/Chevy vans, practical, gas hog haulers. Gettin' the job done.

I had a 65 Ford Mustang and loved it as my first car. I love to travel and run around so the. Mustang is what suits me best.
