Have you made plans to meet someone from a dating site and they cancel at the last minutes or just simply don't show??

In this day and age they just dont tell you anything they just stop communication and then remove you from friends and just ignore you.
Some people say they are grown but act like a child over something that doesnt really matter. Atleast be mature about it and tell someone why you dont want to speak with them if you were talking before as friends.
They know who they are and as time passes others find out who they are also.

I have not been stood up on dates. I have however made the desission to be friends and not carry the relationship further due to the fact that I felt we did not click as dating material.If you were stood up buy this guy(what a fool he is!!)it is most likley he had to do something with his wife and kids he did'nt tell you about!!

Yes, I have had that happen to me. That is why I try to get people to write "standard emails" only prior to talking on the phone.
I have read so many grievances with regard to this medium, that it would appear that a lot of people take this form of friendship very seriously.
I have had so many people write me one email and then drop off. Has that happened to a lot of you ?
BTW - single never married and not unhappy about that considering what I have read about most marriages on this site.

It's much easier to be truthful than to lie. By keeping the truth, you don't find yourself getting deeper and deeper in the BS..
One lie leads to another..
If friendship is all you want, that is always acceptable.

1.Didn't see the stop sign officer.
2.My speedometer must be loose.
3.Why were you going up a one way the wrong way? Sorry sir I thought it was alternate parking.
4.Why didn't you pull over didn't you see my lights flashing or here my Siren? Because i thought you were going after someone else.
5.I pulled you over for going 45 in a 30,do you have a reason for this? Yes sir i was trying to find my radio station.
6.Another person i pulled over for speeding told me he was running late for dinner.
I have heard them all, and i can go on and on.

I never get the excuses, either they show up, OR just stop talking to me all together. I'd prefer they'd just be honest, even if it's that they just don't want to see me, it's not like, I expect to be the perfect person for every man I meet. I'm not a child or a revengeful person, I think I could handle the truth better, than them not saying anything at all.

So let's take this a step further.
You have met someone that you have been chatting with for a month or so. You've done the emails and phone conversations, exchanged pix and are now looking forward to meeting this guy or gal in person.
Now is the meeting. ...... He or she is not quite what their photo was and that you can get past.
The deal breaker..."DENTAL HYGIENE" (a condition promoting sanitary practices)
I met a man that I actually looked forward to meeting and spending time with. OMG..I couldn't get past his breath. It wasn't just bad, it was diseased. I purposely brushed my teeth 6 times in one day, flossed in front of him (LOL!!) Offered gum and tic tacs. He didn't get it!!
Finally I told him to go brush his teeth. ROTFL!!
Needless to say, I have not seen him again and he hasn't a clue why. I had to be honest with him and all he did was laugh.. This was not a joking matter. I Had to tell him my cats box smells better than his breath. (that's bad)
As I said, I applaud honesty!! ROTFLMAO!!
There is no excuse for poor hygiene.
