Hey Guys and Girls
Im originally from NJ. Done 10 years military and my first experience of TX was in Basic in San Antonio (that aside) my first duty station was Cannon AFB NM. The 1st time to El Paso, I fell in love with the culture of W. Texas it draws me back like a moth to a flame. All of my really great friends are from Corpus, Galveston, Liberty and I still keep in touch with them. I have been from El paso to Liberty, Corpus to Lubbock and Galveston to Amirrillo....I love Texas.
Its funny, Ill call back to NJ and say Ya'll and they will be "What the Hell did you say?".
Ya'll have converted a Yankee!!!

sometimes some of us are just born in the wrong place!
I've been in Texas since 1972 and you couldn't run me out of here. I knew when I was 4 years old that I would one day live here! It's the best place in the world!

It is so funny the Idea's that people have about Texas. Check out some website about east texas. Covered in trees, Beautiful wide open spaces, and we get lots and lots of rain. Hence hurricaines Katrina to be the most recent. We have the most magnificient thunderstorms. It is quite beautiful I think you might be pleasantly surprised. Give it a look see. You are always welcome in the Lone Star State.
