I am not a liar, but I will not spend, my money, time, effort, emotions and feelings on someone who is to chicken to give me some special lovin.. If he's a player, he's not b*tching anywhere.... he's probably talking to as many women as will talk to him on any given day at any given time....
and if/when you've got low self-esteem, it's easy to be made to feel like you matter when someone talks to you and pumps you up.... it's flattering to have a guy sweet talk you.... many of us have been there. The OP is what, 19? No, she's 21... just checked... still young.
I agree that blaming him for your feelings towards him is immature.... It sounds like a simple case of I like him and he doesn't like me back.... maybe I put out and now regret it... and so I have to blame someone. When you were 19, you might have blamed some girl for toying with your emotions eddie... again, many of us have been there. Most of us have learned from it. She will too.

I actually understand what you are saying. I have been out on quite a few dates where the very first date they want sex. And no, no pics were sent, there isn't anything in my profile that indicates I want a quickie or f*** buddy so I have no idea whats up with men lately that I've met. I don't webcam, share photos (except those already on my profile) and try to keep initial subject matter on the date to the 'generals'.
Hang in there though and get through those dates, protect your feelings and don't take it personal. When the right one does want to invest the time, it will happen and be worth it JMO
